Valocity is recognised for its agile, modular and scalable technology and its ability to collaborate and create solutions that benefit the entire property ecosystem.
Valocity is excited to announce the release of ‘Valocity Connect’ a new mobile app in New Zealand, and imminently in other markets in collaboration with industry partners. Valocity Connect was originally built for the complex India market, where the solution was recently recognised by winning the India Fintech Start-up of the Year Award.
Valocity Connect is a new digital inspection mobile app which allows the property occupier to securely share geo-tagged – date validated images and information through the Valocity platform when an internal inspection can’t be completed.
By extending access to Valocity Connect to the homeowners and property occupier, Valocity empowers them to collect images and data and seamlessly share it to the Valocity platform, instead of requiring a Valuer to enter the property.
Valocity Connect will allow the property occupier to uniquely:
-
Capture property images, in an intuitive customised template localised by geography
-
Enter key other information such as the number of bedrooms, bathrooms
-
Update any recent upgrades or changes to the property
-
Date stamp the photos for when they were taken
-
Validate the location of the property through map coordinates
-
Confirm the authenticity of the data captured via the occupiers digital signature
-
Share this all securely via the Microsoft Azure cloud-based Valocity lender platform
This will allow the valuer to complete their report accurately with current and validated information all without having to enter a property.
Founder and Global CEO, Carmen Vicelich said “Our team quickly recognised the operational issues that would arise from COVID-19. Together with our lender and valuer ecosystem, we have accelerated the rollout of Valocity Connect to address this need. People are everything, and in unprecedented times like this, we need creative technology and data-led solutions to help keep everyone safe but also enable business continuity.
We know our lending clients want to ensure they can support customers through times of need, especially those that may have to refinance, and ensuring this process can continue while managing the health and safety of property owners and valuers, is crucial. This first of a kind solution gives valuers, lenders, brokers and their customers’ peace of mind that property valuations can still be completed, all while staying on top of regulatory compliance and data security requirements.”
With the growing need for social distancing, the Valocity Connect solution delivers an important remote and secure data capture tool to connect validated property information and solve an important need across a raft of industries from banking, valuations, insurance, real estate, asset management and rental property management inspections.
We look forward to continuing to work closely with our ecosystem to deliver seamless solutions that leverage technology and data, while also ensuring people and their health and safety are put first and foremost.
